Description

This Bowl dates to the 10th century and was discovered in the Chach region. It was used in daily life. This ceramic bowl is distinguished by its simple external shape and complex geometric patterns on the inner border. On the inner edge of the bowl, wavy and linear ornamental elements are painted in red, black, and white, which exhibit features characteristic of a particular pottery school or regional style. Symmetrical shapes and delicately thin walls demonstrate the high skill and technique of local potters. Geometric ornaments on the border can reflect cultural symbols, possibly spiritual or aesthetic symbols. The technique of glazing and coloring indicates the high quality of the dish and the technical potential of the period. Such ceramic vessels can be used not only for household needs, but also for ceremonial or ritual purposes.
