Lamp Stand (main part)

This bronze lamp stand dates to the 11th century and was discovered in the Tashkent region. Measuring 37.5 × 8.8 cm, it served as the main stand of the lamp and, with its perfect composition, demonstrates the high skill of craftsmanship of that time. The lamp stand is decorated with delicate and ornamental patterns, which reflect not only the high level of artistic expression, but also cultural traditions and aesthetic views. The use of bronze made the product durable and suitable for long-term use. This artifact provides important information about the culture of Mawarannahr, in particular, about the development of daily life and lighting. It also demonstrates the high potential of the artists and craftsmen of that time, which is of great historical significance.
