Description
These bronze horse bells were made at the end of the 11th–12th centuries and were found in the territory of Mawarannahr. They are small and lightweight. The bells hung on horse equipment, making sounds during movement, helping to control the animal. They also served as decoration. This type of artifact also reflects trade and cultural ties with neighboring cultures of that time.
