Description
This double-handled ceramic jar dates back to the 2nd–4th centuries AD and measures 16 × 19.5 cm. Painted with slip and adorned with two ring-shaped handles, it has an elegant appearance. It is believed that ancient peoples of Turan used such jars for storing liquids or grain products. The convenient handles suggest its practical use in daily life. This artifact provides valuable insights into the culture, lifestyle, and economic activities of the population of ancient Uzbekistan, as well as the ceramic art of that era.
