Description
This stone column, dating to the 3nd–2rd millennia BCE, was discovered in the Surkhandarya region. Hand-carved, its surface bears traces of workmanship and possibly symbolic decorations. It may have been used as part of building structures or in ritual ceremonies. Such stone artifacts reflect the architecture and cultural life of the Bronze Age. Made from local stone, its durability and form suggest it served for a long period. Archaeologically, this artifact demonstrates the advanced development of civilization in the region.
