Description
The chopper is among the first labor tools crafted by humans from stone. Simple in appearance, one side of the tool was sharpened to serve for chopping, crushing, and cutting various materials. Archaeologists discovered this chopper in the Surkhandarya region, dating back to 100,000–80,000 BCE. Measuring 10 × 8 cm, this stone artifact provides valuable insights into the life, work activities, and cognitive abilities of early humans. The chopper stands as a unique object reflecting the initial stages of human progress.
