Description

This oftoba dates to the 11th–12th centuries and was discovered in Mawarannahr. This oftoba is one of the dishes widely used in daily life. It is mainly intended for storing liquids, especially water. Geometric and floral ornaments were often used in the oftoba of this period, reflecting the artistic traditions of the region. This artifact has historical significance as a high level of craftsmanship of Mawarannahr and an important part of the cultural life of that time.
