Description
These bronze bracelets date to the 2nd millennium BCE, corresponding to the Bronze Age in the region of ancient Chach
They are formed as solid open hoops with pronounced conical terminals. Incised geometric decoration accentuates their sculptural quality. Such features are characteristic of early metallurgical traditions in Central Asia.
Bronze was a strategically important and highly valued material during this period. Metal ornaments often functioned as markers of social distinction and may also have carried protective or symbolic associations.
Archaeological evidence indicates that ancient Chach formed part of a broader network linking steppe and oasis communities.
These bracelets illustrate both technical skill and aesthetic considerations in early Central Asian metalwork.
