Description

The coin of King Kanishka was minted in the 1st–2nd centuries CE during the reign of the famous Kushan ruler. These coins reflect the political power, economy, and cultural life of the Kushan Empire. The obverse often depicts the ruler’s image, while the reverse features religious symbols and inscriptions, including Buddhist, Zoroastrian, and other motifs. Kanishka’s coins played a vital role in strengthening trade relations, consolidating political authority, and expressing cultural integration.
