Description

This bronze garment clasp dates back to the 5th–6th centuries and was discovered in the territory of Uzbekistan. It was a practical item used to fasten, adjust, and decorate clothing of the time. In antiquity, clasps were valued not only for their functional role but also as symbols of social status and aesthetic taste. They were often placed on the collar, shoulder, or waist of garments.
