Description
This ceramic water spout dates back to the 6th–9th centuries. It was discovered in the region of Turon and represents a vivid example of local craftsmanship, applied art, and engineering thought of that era. Made of ceramic, the object reflects the technical skill of local artisans through its shape, polished surface, and possible decorations. The water spout measures 19.5 × 17 cm. In some cases, such items were also used for religious or symbolic purposes. As an exhibit, it provides valuable insights into the technological achievements, ecological awareness, and level of applied art of the time.
