Description
This drinking vessel, dating from the 1st–5th centuries CE, was discovered in the territory of present-day Uzbekistan. Handcrafted from ceramic and coated with a cream-colored slip, it features a ring-shaped handle decorated with a tamga symbol, which may have represented the owner’s mark or the craftsman’s seal. Despite its small size, the vessel embodies both the aesthetic values and practical needs of its time, offering insight into the artistic traditions and everyday life of ancient Central Asia.
