Description

This bird-shaped vessel, dating to the 4th–1st centuries BCE, was discovered in the Ferghana region. Handcrafted and coated with slip, its surface is decorated with net-like patterns in dark red paint, reminiscent of bird feathers. At the center, two decorative additions made of blue stone paste are placed. This unique artifact reflects the artistic vision and aesthetic values of its time, while also demonstrating the craftsmanship and cultural development of the ancient Ferghana Valley.
