Description

The pottery wheel discovered in Uzbekistan is a significant instrument of ancient craftsmanship, widely used in the production of ceramic vessels. With its help, pots and containers were made in uniform and refined shapes. Archaeological findings show that such wheels date back to the 4th–3rd millennia BCE, reflecting the earliest pottery traditions in Central Asia. The artifacts produced in Uzbekistan with this wheel demonstrate the skill of local artisans and their interest in art.
