Description
This Handled Vessel is a ceramic object dating to the Early Medieval period. It was discovered in the Fergana Valley and was intended for storing liquids, being widely used in daily life. Its features a broad, rounded body, a slightly flaring neck, and a side handle that ensured ease of use. The vessel may have been produced by hand or using a potter’s wheel. Its surface is smooth and is sometimes decorated with simple or geometric patterns. Such artifacts reflect the material culture and pottery traditions of the Fergana Valley during the early Middle Ages.
