Description

This drinking vessel dates to the 1st–5th centuries CE and was discovered in the territory of present-day Uzbekistan. Handcrafted from ceramic and coated with a cream-colored slip, it features a ring-shaped handle decorated with a tamga symbol, which may have served as an owner’s mark or a craftsman’s seal. Despite its small size, the vessel reflects both the aesthetic values and practical needs of its time, offering insight into the artistic traditions and everyday life of ancient Central Asia.
